I am a mother of two girls and one granddaughter. We also have two huskies, you might see them time to time on a zoom call since they follow me around all the time. I also enjoy art and will have a website soon to order custom designs.
After losing my husband of thirty years to cancer I was a mess! I was lost and uncertain of the future. About a month or two after his death I came across someone who did grief coaching. I never knew that anything like this existed so I listened. Toni Filiporne, a world renowed grief and life coach taught me that grief is not the enemy and how to change my grief into something that I could live with. This year she offered a coarse in Grief Coaching certification and I jumped in because I wanted to help others with their grief.
I am now a certified grief coach and I am accredited in over 80 country's. I bring a unique perspective, skilled in creating a safe, nurturing space and equip clients with tools that foster resilience and renewal.
I am also continuing my education to ensure my clients to offer the most up-to-date, ethical and effective care.
What sets me apart is my client-centered approach.
1. Personalization: Every journey begins with a in-depth intake process, allowing clients to share their stories, needs, and wishes. From there, coaching plans will be individualized- no templates or generic advice.
2. Focus and Growth, Not just survival: While honoring the pain, I will encourage clients to explore how grief can be a source of transformation, building new strengths, relationships, and perspectives.
3. Community and Connection: This is more than a business, it is a safe haven, a community of people dedicated to lift each other up. Online forums, events, and support groups will connect people across backgrounds and geographies.
I offer special programs in terminal illness diagnosis, anticipatory grief, help for caretakers, pregnancy loss, and support for widows and widowers.. These programs are close to my heart. When my husband was diagnosed in early 2021 we were thrown in the deep end. I watched my husband struggle with his terminal diagnoses with no one to talk to. I and our families were also struggling with anticipatory grief and had no clue what was going on. I also was thrown into a caretaker roll and was completely alone. After my husbands death, I wanted to be able to help others in the situation that we went though. With these programs I will offer advice that I wished I knew. Please go to the special program page for more information.
